FLEXIBLE AUGERS
Flexible mechanical screw conveyors or conveyors are characterised by an outer tube made of food-grade, wear-resistant polyamide resin (nylon PA12).
Inside the tube rotates a metal spiral made of AISI 304 stainless steel.
The principle of mechanical screw conveyance, at high rotational speeds, distributes the material to be conveyed over the entire internal section, allowing the spiral to ‘float’ concentrically over the product itself. Their peculiarity is that they fit easily into existing plant contexts.
A wide range of diameters and lengths allows flow rates up to 8 m³/h.
